Job summary

Clean And Green Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver residential and commercial solar energy systems. The role focuses on developing electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

You will assess components such as panels, inverters and batteries and coordinate installation activities while providing technical guidance to installers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minium 12 months' experience in Electrical Engineer role.
• Experience designing/assessing electrical power, solar PV or renewable energy systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, switchgear, cabling and inverters.
• Ability to interpret drawings, standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing electrical designs, calculations and documentation.
• Analytical problem-solving for system performance and safety.
• Strong communication with customers, installers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for residential and commercial solar projects.
• Prepare electrical designs, specs and technical documentation for PV installations.
• Determine circuits, protection, cabling and equipment arrangements.
• Assess components for project suitability (panels, inverters, batteries).
• Interpret drawings and regulatory requirements for installations.
• Develop diagrams, layouts and connection documentation.
• Coordinate schedules for equipment and wiring installations.
• Provide guidance to installers and project personnel.
• Inspect installations for compliance with designs.
• Analyze system performance and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support commissioning, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Select appropriate electrical equipment for customer needs.
