Qualifications

• Completion of electrician apprenticeship program.
• Bachelor of Science or Diploma of Engineering preferred.
• Electrician license required in state of practice.
• 3–5 years of electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee electrical generation and distribution networks and control systems.
• Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
• Design electrical and electronic circuits, components, systems and equipment.
• Develop apparatus and procedures to test electronic components, circuits and systems.
• Supervise and inspect the installation, modification, testing and operation of electrical and electronic systems.
• Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
