Job summary

Summit + Shore in Canberra seeks a Solar Business Development Representative to educate customers on solar, batteries and EV charging, and design tailored energy solutions for homes in the ACT region.

You'll meet with customers, explain rebates, prepare proposals, and coordinate with our in-house teams to ensure a seamless experience from enquiry to post-install. Base salary with uncapped commissions powers clear career growth.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in residential solar sales or similar B2C sales.
• Ability to build trust quickly and close deals.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable car; willingness to travel within ACT.
• Self-motivation and resilience for a commission-based role.
• Alignment with Summit + Shore’s mission and values.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers across Canberra and surrounding region to understand goals and educate on solar, batteries, home electrification and EV charging.
• Explain rebate landscape and guide customers on optimizing solutions and savings.
• Prepare proposals and system designs tailored to energy profiles, including performance and financing.
• Coordinate with in-house teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and post-install follow-up.
• Represent the brand at community events and stay updated on energy-industry developments.
