Job summary

Geotechnical Testing Services (GTS) is seeking Technicians/Trainees for our Echuca Laboratory in Victoria. You will conduct field and laboratory testing across a broad range of methods under Australian Standards, and participate in training to develop test skills.

A flexible approach to hours and travel will be valued as you support client projects. The role is suitable for individuals with a Certificate 3 in Construction Materials Testing (preferable) and nuclear gauge license (preferable) or

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to travel for work when required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake field and laboratory testing across a broad range of methods per Australian Standards.
• Complete laboratory testing at required production levels.
• Undertake training in test methods and follow Lab Manager directions.
• Prepare worksheets checking measurements and test result calculations for colleagues.
• Maintain, clean and test equipment and keep the work area tidy.
• Liaise with internal staff and clients.
