Construction Sciences is seeking experienced Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians to join our Dubbo team. This is a permanent, full-time role with overtime opportunities, involved in testing soil, concrete and other construction materials in laboratory and field settings.

We offer full training, clear career paths, and opportunities to progress into senior technical and supervisory roles. Applicants with CMT experience are welcome; trainees will receive hands-on support to start.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and follow testing procedures.
• Basic computer and numerical skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence - manual preferred.
• White Card - preferred.
• Ability and willingness to undertake physical, hands-on work.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required.
• Valid Australian working rights with no restriction on full-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Testing soil, concrete and other construction materials.
• Preparing and processing samples in the laboratory.
• Operating specialised testing equipment and machinery.
• Recording results and entering information accurately into our systems.
• Manual handling, including lifting and moving samples.
• Maintaining testing equipment and work areas.
• Working to Australian Standards and company testing procedures.
• Undertaking field testing on construction sites as your experience develops.
• Communicating with clients, supervisors and other members of the team.
