Job summary

Coffey Testing in Sydney's Melrose Park laboratory is seeking an Experienced Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. The role targets candidates with at least 2 years' hands-on CMT experience, capable of field and laboratory testing to Australian standards, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Qu alified applicants should be physically fit for manual tasks and hold a current manual driver's licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Construction Materials Testing industry.
• Physically fit for manual labour and heavy lifting.
• Commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety.
• Experience with field and laboratory testing to Australia standards (AS1289, AS1141, AS1012).
• Must hold a valid manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and test soil, aggregates and concrete samples.
• Perform tests such as Triaxials, permeabilities, aggregates, rock testing.
• Liaise with client onsite on tests, procedures and results.
• Maintain equipment and ensure timely output of results.
• Work in both field and laboratory environments.
