Job summary

4DMedical is seeking a Software Engineer on the Algorithm Team in Melbourne to design, develop and improve our image analysis and lung function software. You will work with C++, Python and UI engineers to build, verify and deploy world-leading medical imaging solutions.

The role emphasizes production-readiness, rigorous testing, and transitioning software releases to production within a regulated medical context. Hybrid work and a collaborative agile environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 5+ years of production-quality C++ experience.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with Digital Image Processing.
• Experience in a highly test-driven environment.
• Experience developing on Linux with containerised images.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve image analysis software.
• Collaborate with other teams to meet requirements.
• Write or update design, verification and validation documents.
• Work within a high-performance Agile team to build image analysis products.
