4DMedical Limited in Melbourne is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to join a tight-knit team evaluating new image processing techniques for our lung motion software. You will design and test underlying methods, contribute to early product development, and translate research ideas into robust prototypes.

As a senior member you will mentor junior researchers, collaborate across clinical studies, software and hardware R&D, and help shape next-generation respiratory imaging technology for

Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in engineering research or science with 3+ years experience in related field.
Strong programming ability to translate ideas into testable prototypes.
Experience with image-based measurement methods or computer vision is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Design and evaluate methods used in our lung motion software.
Lead early product development from concept to prototypes.
Build and test prototypes and translate research ideas into software.
Support commercial software, clinical studies, and hardware R&D.
Mentor junior researchers and share knowledge.
