Job summary

Lumi is a leading fintech lender looking for a frontend engineer to join its Sydney team. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to build Lumi’s lending, risk and customer service platforms using TypeScript and React.

You’ll contribute to scalable, secure, and well-tested software, participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies, and explore AI tools to boost customer outcomes and productivity. Join a culture that values growth, curiosity, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience developing applications with TypeScript and React.
• Strong full stack fundamentals and experience with distributed microservices.
• Disciplined engineering practices, including unit and integration testing, code review and security considerations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to weigh trade-offs to meet business needs.
• Ownership mindset, supporting solutions through development and in production.
• Experience with, or curiosity about, using generative AI tools effectively as part of the software development.
