Job summary
Lumi is a leading fintech lender looking for a frontend engineer to join its Sydney team. Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to build Lumi’s lending, risk and customer service platforms using TypeScript and React.

Qualifications
- 3+ years experience developing applications with TypeScript and React.
- Strong full stack fundamentals and experience with distributed microservices.
- Disciplined engineering practices, including unit and integration testing, code review and security considerations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to weigh trade-offs to meet business needs.
- Ownership mindset, supporting solutions through development and in production.
- Experience with, or curiosity about, using generative AI tools effectively as part of the software development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, product designers and business stakeholders on Lumi’s proprietary lending, risk management and customer service systems, building a shared understanding of customer and business needs.
- Design and deliver effective technical solutions using TypeScript and React, participate in code reviews and contribute to team agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of our platform’s performance, scalability and maintainability.
- Explore and apply AI technologies where they can improve customer outcomes, internal processes or engineering productivity.
