Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to contribute to design, development and implementation improvements of the Woomera Test Range. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in software engineering, computer science, or engineering.
• 2–5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Knowledge of secure development practices.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, Python or Bash.
• DevOps, infrastructure-as-code and automation experience is desirable.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a software engineering role, or equivalent.
• Windows & Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred)
• Virtualisation and Containerisation technologies
• Knowledge of Secure Development Practices
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Python, Bash).
• Experience in DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, and system automation is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to work independently in complex, regulated environments.
