Your mission starts here at Raytheon Australia! Raytheon Australia is a trusted capability partner delivering some of the most complex, innovative and meaningful engineering projects for the Australian Defence Force.
Right now, we are experiencing exciting growth and are seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join the Short Range Ground Based Air Defence (SRGBAD) Support Program based at the Centre for Joint Integration facility in Mawson Lakes.
The SRGBAD Support Program sustains and enhances the Australian Army's NASAMS capability, ensuring it remains operationally effective against current and emerging threats. The program is entering an exciting phase of capability evolution, combining ongoing sustainment activities with the development and integration of launcher capabilities and technologies.
As a Launcher Systems Engineer, you will support the operation, sustainment and continuous improvement of NASAMS launcher systems while contributing to the development of future launcher enhancements and new product initiatives. Working closely with Defence, international partners, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will help deliver technical solutions that enhance capability, improve reliability and ensure operational readiness.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full systems engineering lifecycle, from concept development and requirements analysis through to integration, verification, fielding and ongoing support.

Working alongside some of Australia's leading Defence engineers, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of technical outcomes, influence future capability development and see your work transition from concept through to fielded capability.
In return, we will support you with access to best practice tools, systems and processes while continually investing in your growth by providing tailored learning and development opportunities.
