Job summary

Applied Sciences in Redmond, WA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our team onsite. You will support model development and training workflows with hands-on DevOps, CI/CD, and Python automation to improve reliability and developer productivity.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate builds and deployments, manage Azure resources, and apply Infrastructure-as-Code practices to ensure scalable, observable systems that empower rapid AI model delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps, CI/CD, or build/release engineering.
• Strong Python programming and scripting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with Git and modern source-control workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD systems such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that support software development and delivery.
• Automate software build, test, validation, packaging, deployment, and release processes to improve consistency and reduce risk.
• Develop Python scripts and automation tools for engineering and operational workflows.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be part of the Applied Sciences organization supporting model development and training workflows. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on DevOps and CI/CD experience, strong Python automation skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues while improving reliability and developer productivity.

Pay Range: 41.97 - $45.hr on Experis W2(Benefits/PTO/401k)
