Job summary

Metro Community Housing is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to partner with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team. You will lead financial strategy, governance and risk management while balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution to support growth and sustainability.

Reporting to the CEO, you will guide reporting, budgeting and financial planning, ensuring resources align with the organisation's long-term purpose and community impact.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with significant senior finance leadership experience.
• Experience partnering with executive teams and Boards.
• Strong financial stewardship, governance and risk management capability.
• Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small finance team and provide strategic financial direction to Metro Community Housing.
• Oversee governance, risk management and reporting to the CEO and Board.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and financial planning aligned to long-term strategy.
• Support organisational growth and sustainability through robust financial stewardship.
