Club Southport is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to lead campaigns and grow the social presence across three brands, including CS i Club Southport, SIDETRACKED, and a new precinct in development.
You will work with the Marketing Manager and Creative team to ensure on-time execution of campaigns, promotions and events while maintaining smooth marketing operations across channels.
Are you organised, curious, and ready to get your hands on every part of marketing? We are a multi-award winning venue looking for a Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help deliver flawless, on-time execution of our marketing campaigns, venue promotions and next level events.
This is a hands-on role across three brands: CSi Club Southport, our social bar SIDETRACKED, and a new precinct currently in development. One week you are building a campaign, the next you are on the floor shooting content at a sold-out event. If you like the idea of learning the whole marketing mix rather than being boxed into one channel, this is the role that will let you do it.
Think of the role as two halves. Half of it is dedicated to growing our social presence: creating, publishing and building an audience across three brands. The other half keeps our marketing operations running: campaigns out on time, member communications, website updates and promotion setups. The social half is a genuine priority for us, not a nice to have, and it is a big part of why this role exists.
You will work alongside our Marketing Manager and Creative team to make sure every campaign, event and promotion goes live smoothly across all channels. This role is central to keeping our marketing operations running efficiently and consistently as the venue continues to expand.
Creating, scheduling and publishing social content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok for all three brands
Owning the social content calendar, so we are planned weeks ahead rather than posting reactively
Planning, shooting and editing short-form video in venue, often on the night, often on your phone
Writing captions that sound like us, not like a brand account
Monitoring and engaging with our online community, including comments, messages and reviews
Keeping across social trends, audio and formats, and spotting the ones worth jumping on for our brands
Building, scheduling and monitoring our paid social campaigns
Rolling out campaigns on time and accurately, across every channel
Website updates, including event creation
Drafting and sending member communications
Coordinating promotional design briefs and asset delivery with the Creative team
Coordinating gaming promotion setups and activations
Supporting the marketing strategy across our core departments
Collaborating with the Marketing Manager and venue teams to bring campaigns to life, fast
We are a hospitality venue with a robust events calendar, so the week is shaped by what is on. Your first few weeks will be Monday to Friday, while you settle in and learn the business. After that, your roster will include regular weekend work, with start and finish times moving between daytime and evening shifts depending on what is happening in the venue. Occasionally a big event will mean a Sunday. If you want a job where the best content happens while you are at your desk, this is not it. If you want to be where the action is, you will love it.
At least 2 years in marketing or commercial social media management, or equivalent experience
Experience working in a professional environment
Experience in hospitality, retail, events or another customer-facing business is highly regarded
Hands- on experience running business social accounts: you have scheduled, published and answered the comments
Comfortable in Meta Ads Manager, or confident you can pick it up quickly
CapCut at an intermediate level, and confidence with Microsoft Office
Highly organised and dependable, with a strong eye for accuracy and the ability to keep several deadlines moving at once
Genuine initiative: you spot what needs doing and get on with it
A strong collaborator who likes structure and a plan, but stays calm when the day gets shaken up
Be part of a modern, newly renovated coastal venue entering its next exciting stage of growth
Collaborative and fun workplace culture
Free onsite parking
