Job summary

Throwback in Sydney is seeking a casual Social Media Coordinator to bring our brand to life on Instagram and TikTok, 2–3 days a week. You will create and edit content, post to Instagram, post to TikTok, and help build Meta ads with guidance from the marketing team.

You will work with a small creative team, follow Throwback's marketing calendar, maintain on-brand visuals, and contribute to influencer seeding by building relationships and tracking outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and formats.
• Confidence creating and editing content (photo/video) for social.
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or willingness to learn.
• Strong organisational skills to manage a content calendar.
• Comfortable working with a creative team and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and edit content
• Post content to Instagram
• Post content to TikTok
• Build and upload Meta ads
• Keep content consistent and on-schedule with the aid of Throwback's marketing calendar
• Assist with influencer seeding program — building relationships and tracking content output

About you

• A genuine understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, formats, and what drives engagement
• Confidence creating and editing content (photo/video) for social
• Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager or willingness to learn
• Strong organisational skills — you can juggle a content calendar without dropping the ball
• Comfortable working with a creative team and taking direction on brand tone and visual standards
