Job summary

Ek Social Management is seeking a Social Media Marketing Assistant to join a small team and support a growing portfolio of FMCG and e-commerce brands. You will work with two experienced Social Media Managers and assist across multiple client accounts, with approximately 1–2 days per week of contractor work.

The role focuses on scheduling, content creation, copywriting, and reporting, offering hands-on experience across exciting brands in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation or a similar role.
• Strong copywriting skills and eye for engaging social content.
• Organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple brands and deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a small team.
• Experience with FMCG, food, lifestyle or e-commerce brands would be a bonus.

About you

Is organised, reliable and comfortable juggling multiple brands and deadlines

Has good attention to detail and can follow different brand guidelines and tones of voice

Is comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with a small team

Has a basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting

Experience working withFMCG, food, lifestyle or e-commerce brandswould be a bonus, but isn’t essential.

The details

This is acontractor positionworking with two freelance Social Media Managers and supporting their respective client portfolios. Estimated approximately 2 days per week. There is potential for the role to grow over time as our client base expands.

We’re looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the team rather than simply completing one-off tasks — someone we can trust with our clients and gradually give more responsibility to.
