Apparent in Sydney is hiring a Social Creative/Content Creator to ideate, shoot, edit and publish compelling social content. You’ll develop social concepts, produce content, and collaborate with designers, motion specialists and producers to bring ideas to life.

A strong portfolio and skillful storytelling are essential to help brands stand out online. You’ll join a growing social team within an established creative agency, delivering content from concept to final edit, and supporting campaigns

Qualifications

• Portfolio showing original social ideas and work you have personally built is essential.
• Confidence taking a brief from concept to content and engaging presentation skills
• Strong visual storytelling, editing and short-form writing skills
• Understanding how content needs to change across platforms, audiences and brand contexts
• Experience working with brand guidelines, feedback and approval processes
• Good organisation and realistic judgement about what you can deliver within the available time

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas for social: turn insights into concepts and repeatable formats.
• Shoot and capture content using a phone or camera setup appropriate to the brief.
• Edit short-form video with strong pacing and storytelling; adapt assets for social.
• Learn and collaborate with the team, staying curious about formats and platforms.
• Work with the client lead to plan deliverables and flag production needs.
