Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data warehouse solutions, leveraging Snowflake, dbt and modern data modelling techniques.

You will collaborate with data analysts, architects and engineers to deliver enterprise analytics, maintain governance, and improve performance, cost management and security across AWS/Azure/GCP platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable data pipelines in Snowflake.
• Hands-on dbt model development, testing, and incremental loading.
• Strong data modelling knowledge (Dimensional, Star, Snowflake Schema).
• Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses and CI/CD.
• Security, governance, and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake data models.
• Create reusable dbt models, macros, tests, and docs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analytics teams.
