Job summary

Findex is seeking an Accounting Officer/Bookkeeper to join the SMSF team in Toowoomba on a part-time basis (about 25–30 hours per week). You will process superannuation transactions and support the preparation of financial statements and reconciliations, working with a friendly local, offshore and virtual team.

The role offers flexible hours, structured development, study support for external qualifications, and clear progression within a national firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
• Working towards or holding a relevant qualification in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Experience with CLASS Super or BGL desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Responsibilities

• Process client superannuation fund transactions accurately and within deadlines.
• Support the preparation of financial statements, activity statements and reconciliations.
• Maintain documentation, work papers and client files in line with compliance.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support, data entry and file management.
• Assist with client communications and respond to routine queries.
