Findex is seeking an SMSF Accountant to join the Adelaide team. You will handle superannuation fund processing and provide accounting and taxation services, including financial statements, tax returns, reconciliations, and work papers in line with industry legislation and policy.

You will work with a variety of clients, ensuring timely lodgements, accurate reporting, and thorough final checks ahead of audits.

Qualifications

2+ years' accounting experience and understanding of accounting principles, taxation standards and financial reporting.
Degree qualified in Accounting; CA/CPA or equivalent desirable.
Excellent communicator able to liaise with team and wider group.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Adaptable and collaborative with good time management across deadlines.

Responsabilités

Process client superannuation funds accurately and on time within lodgement deadlines.
Prepare reports for managers, including exception reporting of funds.
Prepare financial statements, tax returns, regulatory returns, BAS, and reconciliations.
Conduct final checks of processed funds in preparation for audit.
Process transactions for trustees, benefit transfers, contributions and pension calculations.
Prepare documentation for Account Based Pensions or TTR Income Streams and Transfer Balance reporting.
Support process improvement and automation aligned with group guidelines.
