Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join our Upstream CSG team in a permanent, full-time capacity on a site-based Roma, QLD roster.

In this role you will provide engineering support to a high-performing operations team, coordinate site functions, develop plans and budgets, and contribute to tender submissions and client meetings. You will need a mechanical or structural engineering degree and a proactive, safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
• P6/Scheduler experience highly advantageous.
• Experience in on-site engineering within the resources sector.
• Strong written and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate site support functions (Quality, Technical, Planning, Commercial).
• Assist in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage project data, reporting, and commercial documentation.
• Support tender submissions and execution phases.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings, providing practical solutions.

This is a site-based role in the Roma region (QLD), working a 19/9 roster, providing engineering support to a high-performing operations team and will see you working closely with a key client.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead and coordinate site support functions (Quality, Technical, Planning, Commercial).
• Assist in developing project plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Manage project data, reporting, and commercial documentation.
• Support tender submissions and execution phases.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings, offering practical solutions.

What you will bring

• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally within CSG.
• Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Structural Engineering (Australian recognised).
• P6/Scheduler and Quality Assurance experience highly advantageous.
• Experience working in an on-site engineering position, servicing the resources sector.
• Strong, clear written and technical skills.
• Motivated and proactive approach, with an eagerness to learn.
• Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
