Job summary

BSA, an Australian-owned technical services company, is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join the Electrical Services team in Lidcombe. You will perform smart meter installations and fault inspections, delivering safe, high-quality work and excellent service to customers across residential and commercial sites.

Ideal candidates hold a Grade Electrical licence, NSW ASP authorisation, and a valid driver licence.

Qualifications

• A Grade Electrical licence
• Experience and technical knowledge within the metering industry
• ASP authorisation across multiple NSW networks
• A current Driver Licence
• A current White Card
• Any additional licences, tickets or qualifications required for the role
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a strong sense of personal responsibility

Responsibilities

• Conducting Smart Meter installations and fault inspections across single dwelling and multi-residential sites
• Completing pre-starts and ensuring jobs are completed safely and to the required standards
• Managing tools, stock and equipment to ensure you’re ready to deliver each job
• Managing allocated jobs and delivering quality work in line with client and BSA requirements
• Completing post-job technical and administrative requirements
• Liaising professionally with customers and other stakeholders on site
• Attending relevant meetings, training and other activities as required
• Taking ownership of your work and ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
