Job summary

Optus is seeking a dynamic Small Business Specialist for our Carnes Hill team in Sydney. You will identify business customers, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions across mobile, broadband, fixed services and activation.

You will mentor teammates, stay ahead of market trends, and deliver confident, consultative conversations while ensuring operational excellence and compliance. This role offers growth within our retail and business pathways.

Qualifications

Business savvy and understanding of small business needs.
Excellent consultative selling and solution recommendation abilities.
Desire to grow into subject matter expert across Optus products for small business.
Ability to mentor teammates and raise store capability.

Responsibilities

Act as Small Business SME in store, identifying business customers early and matching them with growth solutions.
Build knowledge across mobile, broadband, fixed services and activation processes.
Deliver confident, consultative conversations to meet business needs with tailored solutions.
Mentor and support the team to spot opportunities and elevate the business customer experience.
Stay updated with small business updates, offers, and market trends; share insights daily.
Own business inquiries with professionalism and support merchandising compliance.
