Job summary

Endeavour Foundation operates a SIL home in Tewantin and is seeking a Disability Support Worker for permanent sleepover shifts. The role supports individuals to live as independently as possible, with duties spanning daily living, personal care, meal planning, and community outings.

Ideal candidates are calm, compassionate, and professional, with at least a Certificate III in Disability-related support. A permanent roster with multiple sleepovers per fortnight is required and various shifts

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous.
• Availability to work a permanent roster including multiple sleepovers and varied shifts across days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
• Good computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid/CPR, National Criminal History Check and a valid driver’s licence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Help people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills and budgeting.
• Assist with personal care to meet individual needs.
• Support meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and social outings to foster community connection.
• Provide support during daily activities such as walks, movies, or appointments.
• Help people maintain connections with family, friends and services.
