Job summary

Respiratory Sleep and Comprehensive Internal medicine – Woden ACT is seeking a Sleep Technician to join our clinical team. The role focuses on setup and calibration of sleep equipment, recording physiological data, and supporting CPAP therapy titration for patients.

Ideal candidates will have experience with sleep studies, maintain gold-standard recordings (AASM), and demonstrate strong patient service, teamwork, and strict adherence to privacy and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sleep Technician or CPAP Therapist desirable.
• Laboratory-based sleep studies for diagnostic or titration of CPAP highly regarded.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining gold standard quality recordings (AASM).
• Ability to be flexible with workdays and hours.
• Ability to comply with safety and infection-control laws and guidelines.
• Experience with routine equipment care, maintenance, and inventory evaluation.
• Strong customer service, consultancy, and teamwork skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow HIPAA policies to protect patient privacy and security.
• Experience with Medical/Sleep software (Noxturnal) preferred.
