Job summary

The successful candidate will have Certificate III/IV in Solid Plastering or equivalent, at least 1 year of plastering experience, and the ability to read plans and work independently as part of a construction team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in solid plastering or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year of plastering experience in residential or commercial work.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and specs.
• Proficient in plastering, cement render and finishing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, levelling and removing imperfections.
• Apply plaster, render and other materials to interior/exterior walls and ceilings.
• Mix plaster, cement, mortar to required consistency.
• Install reinforcing mesh, beads and related accessories.
• Level and smooth plaster using trowels, floats and screeds.
• Repair cracks and defects to restore surface integrity.
• Read plans and determine material needs and methods.
• Coordinate with builders and other trades to meet schedules.
