M2P Engineering, located in Brisbane, is seeking experienced Pipe Welders, Pipefitters, and Structural Boilermakers for their modern fabrication workshop.

The ideal candidates will have a relevant trade qualification and the ability to produce high-quality work in a safe environment. Opportunities for permanent and casual positions are available, with immediate starts and overtime offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform carbon steel pipe welding using various techniques.
• Fit and assemble pipe systems based on engineering drawings.
• Fabricate heavy structural steel constructions as per specifications.

Skills

Carbon steel pipe welding experience

Flux Core (FCAW), STT and TIG welding

Pipe spool fabrication and assembly

Heavy structural steel fabrication

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Workshop fabrication experience

• Pipe Welders

• Structural Boilermakers

Pipe Welders

We're looking for experienced Pipe Welders with:

• Carbon steel pipe welding experience
• Flux Core (FCAW), STT and TIG welding
• Small and large bore piping experience
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test

Experience producing high-quality pressure welds in a workshop environment will be highly regarded.

Pipefitters

We're seeking experienced Pipefitters with experience in:

• Carbon steel pipe fitting
• Small and large bore piping
• Pipe spool fabrication and assembly
• Flange management
• Reading and interpreting isometric drawings
• Workshop fabrication

Structural Boilermakers

We're also looking for experienced Structural Boilermakers with strong workshop fabrication experience, including:

• Heavy structural steel fabrication
• Reading fabrication drawings
• MIG/FCAW welding
• Fabrication of chutes, hoppers, conveyors, tanks and structural steel
• High-quality fabrication and assembly
