Job summary

Steel Span (Qld) Pty Ltd – Archerfield QLD is seeking qualified Boilermakers to join our structural steel fabrication team. You will work on pipe and helix welding, structural fabrications for commercial buildings, and earthmoving equipment repairs both in the workshop and on-site.

On-site work includes installation of fabricated structures with our mobile welding trucks. We mostly operate in Brisbane, with occasional trips to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Construction Card is required.
• Proficient in MIG and MMAW welding processes.
• Ability to read drawings and fabricate to drawings.
• Enthusiastic with good time management.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate components to drawings.
• Work in workshop and on-site, including mobile welding.
• Install fabricated structures and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain punctuality and reliability on projects.

Structural steel fabrication business located in Archerfield seeking qualified Boilermakers. Variety of projects from pipe and helix welding, structural steel fabrications for commercial buildings works, earthmoving equipment repairs, both in the workshop and on-site. On-site work includes installation of fabricated structures or general welding taking our mobile welding trucks to site. Our work is based mainly in Brisbane and occasionally extending to Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast.

We are looking for candidates who have the following qualities:

Construction Card

Proficient in MIG and MMAW

Ability to read drawings and fabricate to drawing

Enthusiastic with good time management skills

Punctual and reliable

Reporting directly to the business owner and manager, we are offering competitive pay rates with a permanent full-time role following 3 month probation period.
