Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking Boilermakers / Sheetmetal Workers & Welders in Tingalpa, QLD. The role offers $53 per hour plus penalties and is a permanent position with long-term prospects.

Work involves fixed plant, structural, marine and port projects and requires strong MIG, TIG and Stick welding skills, fabrication and the ability to read drawings. Applicants should be prepared for 10‑hour days with some Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Boilermaker with welding, fabrication and fitting skills.
• MIG/TIG/Stick welding on Mild Steel, Structural Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel.
• Ability to read drawings and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Weld, fabricate and fit on fixed plant, structural, mobile plant, marine and port projects.
• Read and interpret drawings to guide fabrication.
• Work in a 10‑hour day pattern with Saturdays possible; permanent, long‑term role.

Busy engineering company with a huge variety of work available. Working on fixed plant, structural, mobile plant, marine & port, construction

Experience

All rounder Boilermaker who can weld, fabricate, and fit! Strong in MIG, TIG, Stick and Flux (preferred) on Mild Steel, Structural Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel (preferred). Be able to work independently and read drawings
