Glencore Australia, at Oaky Creek Coal in Tieri, QLD, is seeking a Skilled Mobile Equipment Operator to join the permanent team. Reporting to the Surface Superintendent, you will operate mobile equipment for rehabilitation, earthworks and civil construction in a heavy industry setting.

You will hold a Queensland HR Driver Licence with competency in dozer/loader/excavator/grader operations being highly regarded.

• Current Queensland HR Driver Licence.
• Competencies in dozer, loader, excavator and/or grader operations are highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a range of mobile equipment for rehabilitation, civil construction and earthworks.
• Conduct reclamation and rehabilitation dozer operations to support mine closure and land restoration.
• Service trucks and perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Support site water management and infrastructure maintenance.
• Contribute to environmental management and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with the team to meet operational and rehabilitation targets.

Reporting to the Surface Superintendent, an exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and safety-focused Skilled Mobile Equipment Operator to join the Oaky Creek Coal team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating and promoting a strong commitment to safety and compliance with site procedures
• Operating a range of mobile equipment to undertake rehabilitation, civil construction and earthworks activities
• Conducting reclamation and rehabilitation dozer operations in support of mine closure and land restoration programs
• Operating service trucks and carrying out routine servicing and minor maintenance of mobile equipment
• Supporting site water management activities, including water transfer systems, pipelines and associated infrastructure maintenance
• Contributing to environmental management initiatives and maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
• Working collaboratively within a small team environment to deliver operational and rehabilitation objectives

About you:

• Previous experience operating mobile equipment within surface mining, civil construction, earthmoving or similar heavy industry environments
• Current Queensland HR Driver Licence
• Current competencies in dozer, loader, excavator and/or grader operations will be highly regarded
• Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement
• Demonstrated understanding of environmental responsibilities and sustainable work practices
• Reliable, self-motivated and willing to contribute positively to team outcomes

This is a 7 days on/7days off rostered position.
