Job summary

Glencore is hiring a Longwall Operator for Oaky North Underground and Oaky Creek Coal, Tieri, QLD. The role is full-time permanent with an even-time 7/7 roster. You will support underground operations, perform longwall duties and uphold high safety and procedural standards.

Requirements include 2+ years longwall/development experience and a current Standard 11. The position offers competitive mining pay, overtime rates, and site allowances within a supportive team environment.

The Role

Full-time permanent Even-time 7/7 rostered position

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Providing support to the underground operation and statutory inspections
• Performing operational duties on the longwall
• Displaying high work standards and compliance to documented procedures
• Influencing and maintaining a positive team culture and driving the safety culture

About you

• 2+ years Longwall/Development experience will be highly regarded
