Rescom Builders Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable Skilled Labourer for remedial works on active building sites in Sydney. You will support carpenters and trades, assist with demolition, and help prepare areas for waterproofing while maintaining site safety.

This hands-on role requires basic construction skills, ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to working with a team on varied residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Qualifications

• Previous construction site experience.
• OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card) required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Current Driver’s Licence preferred.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Assisting carpenters and trades on site.
• Opening walls, floors, and balconies when required.
• Using props to support areas during works.
• Demolition works using jack hammers.
• Using hand and power tools, including grinders.
• Preparing areas for waterproofing works.
• Moving materials and keeping the site clean.
• Following instructions from the Leading Hand, Site Supervisor, and Project Manager.
• Working safely and following site procedures.

Our scope of works includes demolition, carpentry support, waterproofing preparation, patching, and general remedial building works. We take pride in our workmanship, site management, and professional approach.

Due to ongoing projects across Sydney and the Illawarra, we are seeking reliable and motivated Skilled Labourers to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role working on active building sites supporting remedial works. You will work closely with carpenters and supervisors to help complete works safely and efficiently.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting carpenters and trades on site
• Opening walls, floors, and balconies when required
• Using props to support areas during works
• Demolition works using jack hammers
• Using hand and power tools, including grinders
• Preparing areas for waterproofing works

You do not need to be a qualified carpenter, but you should have basic hands-on construction skills and be comfortable using tools.
