Job summary

TradesCo Building & Property Services – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a multiskilled carpenter/tradesman/leading hand for the Sydney metro area. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday (40 hours) with optional Saturday work for extra earnings and opportunities to develop within the company.

You will perform remedial works across multiple projects, reporting to the project manager and possibly supervising others. A hands-on, safety‑conscious mindset and strong client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification with relevant industry experience.
• Current driver’s license is required.
• White Card and safety compliance are essential.

TradesCo is a remedial building works company based in Rydalmere. With a long establish history in the industry, our team is highly experienced in providing solutions for jobs large and small. Providing a multi trade service, our professional team continually surpass client expectations.

We currently have vacancies for a multiskilled carpenters/tradesman/leading hand to join our team. Working throughout the Sydney metro region, you will use your broad skills to carry-out a variety of remedial work across multiple projects. This full time position is Monday to Friday (40hr week) with optional Saturday work for those wanting extra $$$. This role will provide variety and opportunity to develop within the business.

Example of some of the common works we carry out include (but not limited to) door and window repairs, cavity flashing repairs, leak detection, waterproofing, ceiling repairs, gyprock setting and plastering, painting, decks, tiling, bricklaying and other general carpentry. You will be required to work both independently and part of a team. Reporting to the project manager, you will be running a site, or at other time working with a site manager. Applicants shall be motivated and competent to work with a great team on a range of projects throughout the Greater Sydney Area.

• Capable of supervising and instructing other staff

We will expect you to have:

• Current driver's licence
• White Card
• Trade qualification with relevant industry experience
• Strata, residential, commercial maintenance, remedial and construction experience preferred
• Experience in other trades preferred, e.g. tiling, painting, plastering
• Able to use Samsung phone for entering & updating information
• Experience using workflow management software (job information and timesheets) is preferred
• Strong work ethic
