Job summary

Adactin Group is seeking a Sitecore Developer to rebuild legacy .NET components into a Next.js headless solution in Sydney. You'll create Storybook examples, ensure high test coverage, and migrate Sitecore customisations with a focus on AI forms integration and middleware connections.

Required are Sitecore AI (XM Cloud) experience, Next.js expertise for wildcard pages, Tailwind CSS, and strong Git/Azure DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Sitecore AI (XM Cloud) experience required.
• Experience with Next.js for Sitecore wildcard pages.
• Familiarity with SSG/ISR and caching strategies.
• Tailwind CSS is mandatory.
• Storybook experience for rebuilt components.
• PowerShell Extensions for Sitecore workflows.
• Headless architecture and Azure web apps familiarity.
• SQL knowledge and Azure SQL exposure.
• Git/Azure DevOps for code commits and PRs.
• Documentation in Confluence for rebuilt components.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild legacy .NET components into a Next.js headless solution.
• Create Storybook examples and ensure test coverage for code.
• Rebuild/migrate Sitecore customisations (fields, token handling, RTE).
• Rebuild integration logic with middleware via REST.
• Work with ETL migration script to move Sitecore content.
• Fix logic and UI issues for rebuilt code.
• Assist with Sitecore AI forms integration and setup.

Role Responsibilities

The Sitecore Developer will be responsible for:

• Rebuilding existing legacy .NET components and logic in Next.JS headless solution
• Creating Storybook examples and ensuring maximum test coverage for all code
• Rebuilding/migrating Sitecore customisations such as custom fields / token handling / RTE enhancements
• Rebuilding integration logic with Organisation's middleware (WS02 via REST)
• Working with existing ETL migration script to ensure Sitecore content is correctly migrated
• Fixing any logic / UI issues for rebuilt code
• Assisting with Sitecore AI forms-email setup / integration

Required Skills and Experience

• Sitecore AI (formerly XM Cloud) experience (mandatory)
• Experience handling Sitecore wildcard pages using Next.js
• Preferably familiarity with SSG / ISR / cache components
• CSS / Tailwind experience (mandatory)
• Storybook experience
• PowerShell / Sitecore PowerShell Extensions experience
• Headless architecture experience
• Familiarity with Azure web apps / function apps / SQL
• Familiarity with Sitecore AI Forms / Connect / Send is a bonus
• Code commits in git repo for all rebuilt legacy code and serialised Sitecore items
• Storybook stories for all rebuilt components
• Vite tests with maximum test coverage for all components + logic
• Pull requests in Azure DevOps for all work
• Documented logic (in Confluence) of components rebuilt from .NET to Next.js
