Job summary

Launch Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a strong Full Stack Engineer with a frontend emphasis to design and enhance customer-facing digital experiences for a leading global financial organisation. You will work across React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, building scalable APIs within headless architectures, and shaping performance, security, and engineering best practices.

• Experience with APIs, microservices, CI/CD
• Experience deploying to cloud: Vercel, Netlify or AWS
• Experience applying AI in software development and digital experiences

About the role

Work with a leading global financial organisation and join a leading engineering team in Australia to build and transform the way they service their customers. You’ll design and enhance modern customer-facing digital experiences across websites and digital platforms, working with the latest technologies.

This role focuses on modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, with the opportunity to work across React, Next.js and Node.js, scalable APIs and modern headless/composable architectures. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in Sitecore, with the ability to drive technical direction, propose solutions and apply emerging technologies including AI, while championing performance, security and engineering best practices.

What are we looking for?

• Strong Full Stack experience with a stronger frontend focus across React, Next.js and TypeScript, with Node.js and another backend language advantageous
• Strong experience with headless/composable architectures, ideally in Sitecore. Other modern CMS platforms suchas Contentful, Sanity, Storyblok or similar may be considered
• Good understanding of accessibility and technical SEO, with the ability to propose solutions and influence technical direction
• Experience across APIs, microservices, BFFs, CI/CD
• Experience deploying to cloud - Vercel, Netlify or AWS
• Good AI experience, with the ability to implement and leverage AI across software development and digital experiences, with an understanding of A2A and A2UI
