Job summary

Genus Infrastructure in Western Australia is seeking a Site Yardman to join our Fleet Headquarters team. You will help keep the yard and laydown areas operating efficiently, refuel mobile plant and assist with deliveries and stock management.

This on-site role requires hands-on work, strong safety focus, and the ability to work with a site team across the project, with duties ranging from loading to keeping areas clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Yardman, Yard Hand, or similar site role.
• Experience with refuelling mobile plant and equipment.
• Strong understanding of site safety requirements.
• Ability to work outdoors and perform manual handling.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a site team.

Responsibilities

• Refuelling mobile plant, vehicles and equipment.
• Managing fuel and refuelling activities per site procedures.
• Receiving and directing deliveries to yard areas.
• Loading and unloading materials and deliveries.
• Moving and positioning materials around the yard.
• Maintaining storage areas and the yard.
• Assisting with plant and equipment movement.
• Checking and maintaining stock and materials.
• Supporting Fleet team with materials as required.
• Keeping work areas and yard tidy and safe.
• Reporting damaged equipment or hazards to supervisor.
• Following safety, environmental and project procedures.
