Job summary

Genus Infrastructure is recruiting for a Site Yardman to support the Fleet Headquarters team servicing all fleet for infrastructure projects in Western Australia. This hands-on role focuses on keeping the yard and laydown areas organised, safe and efficient.

Your duties include refuelling mobile plant, managing deliveries, loading/unloading materials and maintaining storage areas, while following site procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience as Yardman or similar on construction sites.
• Experience around mobile plant and heavy equipment.
• Understanding of site safety requirements.
• Able to work outdoors and perform manual handling.
• Reliable and proactive team member.

Responsibilities

• Refuelling mobile plant, vehicles and equipment
• Managing fuel and refuelling activities per site procedures
• Receiving deliveries and directing to correct areas
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Moving and positioning materials around the yard
• Maintaining storage areas and the yard
• Keeping work areas and yard clean and safe
• Assisting with general site and yard duties as required
• Reporting damaged equipment, stock issues or hazards to the supervisor
• Following safety, environmental and project procedures
