Job summary

GemLife is seeking an experienced Residential Site Supervisor for our Burnett Heads site near Bundaberg. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure delivery of luxury homes at pace with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will bring a QBCC licence, a carpentry background, and proven supervisory experience in residential construction. Expect hands-on leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication in a dynamic site environment.

Qualifications

• QBCC Licence required.
• Experience in high-volume residential construction.
• Driver's Licence and White Card required.
• Trade background in carpentry preferred.
• Supervisory experience with adherence to OHS procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• IT proficiency; familiarity with on-site software.

Are you an experienced Residential Site Supervisor or leading hand with a passion for delivering high-quality, luxury home? Our new Burnett Heads site just out of Bundaberg has commenced construction and we're looking for a driven and a capable professional ready to step into this exciting opportunity.

About QA Build

Our expert teams consistently deliver premium villas with industry-leading build times averaging just 16 weeks.

The Opportunity

Our Burnett Heads development will deliver 150 homes, with approximately 2 years of work on-site, plus a pipeline of projects in the future.

Working alongside the Residential Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role in site operations - overseeing Plant Operators, Labourers, and subcontractors to ensure homes are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

We're looking for a confident and decisive leader who communicates effectively, solves problems quickly, and keeps projects running smoothy. You will need to be proactive in identifying risks and maintaining momentum on-site, even under pressure.

To be successful you must:

• Have a QBCC Licence
• Experience in Residential Construction with high volume
• Drivers Licence + white card
• A trade background, carpentry is preferred
• Supervisor experience while following OHS procedures
• Problem solving skills and good decision making
• Competent with IT, preferably Onsite Companion
• Have a practical, hands -on approach ensuring you're present on site and follow through with what you commit to
• Remain calm under pressure while adapting to challenges if they arise
