Job summary

GemLife QA Build seeks an experienced Residential Site Supervisor for our Burnett Heads site near Bundaberg. You will lead on-site activities, supervising Plant Operators, Labourers and subcontractors to deliver high‑quality luxury homes on schedule.

You must hold a QBCC Licence and have high‑volume residential construction experience. A hands‑on, proactive leader who communicates clearly and keeps momentum even under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• QBCC Licence is required.
• Experience in high-volume residential construction.
• Valid Driver's Licence and white card.
• Trade background, carpentry preferred.
• Supervisor experience while following OHS procedures.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision making.
• Competent with IT tools, onsite software preferred.
• Hands-on, practical on-site approach and follow-through.
• Remain calm under pressure and adapt to challenges.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Plant Operators, Labourers, and subcontractors on-site.
• Ensure homes are delivered safely, on time and to high quality standards.
• Identify risks early and maintain project momentum.
• Communicate effectively with team and subcontractors to resolve issues quickly.
• Work alongside Residential Site Manager to lead site operations.
