Job summary

Centina is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to join our Adelaide construction team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate on-site delivery of medium-density residential projects across metropolitan Adelaide, leading trades and deliveries while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will supervise site activities, interpret drawings and schedules, and manage site records with Procore, building strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction site supervision and coordinating trades.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Strong understanding of WHS obligations and construction standards.
• Experience maintaining site records and progress information.

As our residential project portfolio grows, we are looking for a capable and practical Site Supervisor to join our construction team.

The role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate the on-site delivery of architecturally designed medium-density residential projects across metropolitan Adelaide. Centina’s residential portfolio includes multi-storey townhouses, apartments, affordable and community housing, SDA developments and complex urban infill projects.

You will provide visible on-site leadership, coordinate trades and deliveries, maintain safety and quality standards, and keep work progressing in line with the approved construction program. Depending on project size and complexity, you may supervise a whole site, multiple sites, or an allocated stage or work area.

What you’ll be doing

Coordinate daily site activities, trades, labour, plant and deliveries

Monitor progress against the construction program and raise constraints or delays early

Set clear expectations for subcontractor attendance, productivity, workmanship and conduct

Manage site safety, quality, housekeeping and compliance requirements

Review work against approved drawings, specifications and construction standards

Maintain accurate site records, photographs and progress information in Procore

Communicate delays, design queries, potential variations, defects and incidents promptly

Build a reliable trade base and productive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers

Address performance concerns and day-to-day site conflict professionally

About you

You are an organised and confident site professional who can maintain standards, hold trades accountable and keep work moving. You communicate clearly, follow issues through and are comfortable managing challenging conversations when required.

You will bring:

Experience in construction site supervision, as a leading hand or in a comparable site-based coordination role

Practical knowledge of construction sequencing, trade coordination, site logistics and quality control

The ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and schedules

A practical understanding of WHS obligations, the National Construction Code and relevant construction standards

Confidence managing subcontractor performance and resolving site-based issues

Sound digital capability and the ability to maintain accurate records

A Construction Industry White Card and current Australian driver’s licence

A relevant trade qualification, Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction, First Aid qualification and experience using Procore will be highly regarded.
