SITE SUPERVISOR – CONCRETING

Jamin O’Donnell Concreting Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Concreting Site Supervisor to join our team and take a leading role in the day-to-day running of our projects.

We are an established concreting company servicing Hervey Bay, Maryborough and surrounding areas, completing a variety of residential, commercial and shed concreting works.

We have a strong pipeline of work and are looking for the right person to help lead our crews, organise sites and maintain the high standard of workmanship our business is known for.

This is a hands‑on supervisory position. We are looking for someone who knows concreting, can lead from the front and isn't afraid to jump on the tools when required.

THE ROLE

As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing concreting projects from site preparation through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supervising concreters and labourers on site
• Planning and coordinating daily site activities
• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications and set-outs
• Organising site preparation, boxing/formwork and reinforcement
• Coordinating concrete pours and finishing operations
• Allocating tasks and keeping crews productiveEnsuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Monitoring workmanship and quality control
• Coordinating with management, customers, builders, suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensuring materials, equipment and machinery are organised for upcoming works
• Conducting pre‑starts and maintaining safe work practices
• Identifying and resolving site issues before they become delays
• Keeping management informed of job progress, labour requirements and upcoming works
• Working on the tools alongside the crew when required

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who has genuine concreting experience and the confidence to run a site and lead a crew.

Ideally, you will have:

• Extensive hands‑on concreting experience
• Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman or Site Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of boxing, formwork, reinforcement, pouring and finishing concrete
• Ability to read plans and understand levels and set-outs
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage a crew and keep jobs moving
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Good communication and leadership skills
• A strong understanding of WHS and site safety
• Current driver's licence
• Construction White Card
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Experience operating earthmoving equipment and machinery would also be highly regarded.
