Job summary

Yakama is seeking a Site Supervisor based in Adelaide to oversee civil infrastructure projects across earthworks, drainage, roads and allied works for a growing national contractor. This is a full-time, permanent, site-based role with an immediate start on projects spanning defence and renewables.

You will manage day-to-day delivery, lead safety on site, plan sequence work, and liaise with clients and engineers to maintain records and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising civil construction crews and subcontractors.
• Strong civil infrastructure background in earthworks, drainage, roads and related works.
• Ability to read construction drawings and plan work sequences.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of civil infrastructure works across self-performed and subcontracted packages.
• Lead safety on site, including daily pre-starts, inspections and compliance of all workers, subcontractors and plant.
• Plan and sequence work in line with the master program, and manage labour, plant and materials to targets.
• Monitor and report program delays, variances and scope changes.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, consultants and subcontractors, and maintain the site diary and daily records.

Based in Adelaide, you’ll be overseeing projects across civil infrastructure, defence and renewable energy, including earthworks, drainage, underground services, roads, intersections, electrical infrastructure and more. This is a site-based role with an immediate start available.
