Job summary

Goldsmith is seeking a highly motivated Site Supervisor to join our Melbourne team, delivering civil works across landfill and related infrastructure.

You will lead onsite activities, prioritise safety and quality, coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain accurate records for plant and personnel. A proven ability to interpret construction plans and operate Topcon GPS rovers is essential to our success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a civil construction supervisor, ideally on landfill projects.
• Experience with landfill lining systems highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale bulk earthworks.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Experience operating Topcon GPS rovers and machine control systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate onsite activities from site establishment to handover.
• Prioritise safety, efficiency and quality in all construction tasks.
• Maintain current records for plant, equipment and site personnel.
• Implement Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental management plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and specifications.
• Optimise use of site resources to meet project timelines.
• Provide hands-on problem solving and issue resolution.
• Promote Goldsmith values and culture within the project team.
