Personalised Freight Management is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor in NSW to lead delivery performance for selected customers, overseeing day-to-day planning, safety, people management and customer relations.

Based at Wetherill Park, the role involves coordinating deliveries, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while driving continuous improvement across operations. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in transport or logistics operations.
• Proven supervisory or people leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance, fatigue management and CoR.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to schedule and plan deliveries and resourcing.
• Complete site assessments at customer sites to determine delivery requirements and resources.
• Create SWMS per site and conduct onsite training of personnel.
• Manage site PPE and handling equipment requirements.
• Supervise personnel on site to ensure compliance with site rules.
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain clear operational communication.
• Investigate incidents, damages and accidents and report findings.
• Act as escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Travel to various customer sites.
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, processes and service outcomes.

PFM Sensitive Freight is a specialist transport and 3PL logistics provider based in Wetherill Park NSW, delivering high‑value and sensitive freight across metro, regional and interstate networks. Our operations support industries including medical, refrigeration, print, ATM and Technology services with safety, compliance and service excellence at the core of everything we do.

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead our delivery performance for selected specialised customers in NSW, overseeing day‑to‑day planning, delivery performance, safety, people management and customer relations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this hands‑on leadership role is responsible for the management of deliveries to various onsite customer locations. You will ensure deliveries are managed safely, efficiently and compliantly while leading delivery crews and operational staff in a fast‑paced environment.

This role suits a confident transport leader who thrives on ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaising with customers to schedule and plan deliveries and the required resourcing.
• Completion of site assessments at customer sites to determine delivery requirements, specific site requirements and required resourcing.
• Creation of SWMS per site and onsite training and management of personnel on customer sites.
• Management of specific site requirements in terms of PPE and handling equipment.
• Supervise personnel on site ensuring all specific site requirements are understood and maintained.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and maintain clear operational communication
• Investigate and report incidents, damages and accidents
• Act as an escalation point for customers and internal stakeholders
• Travel to various customer sites
• Drive continuous improvement across safety, processes and service outcomes

ABOUT YOU

• 3–5+ years’ experience in transport or logistics operations
• Proven supervisory or people leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance, fatigue management and CoR
• Strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, operationally focused environment
• Process‑driven, safety‑focused and commercially aware
• Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving skills
• Experience handling sensitive freight (high‑value or specialised) highly regarded
• Qualifications in Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain (preferred)
