Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations on two significant inner-city projects valued up to $45M. You will manage subcontractors, sequencing, and site logistics, while upholding WHS and quality standards.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager and senior leaders to maintain program performance and ensure on-time delivery, with autonomy on site and exposure to technically interesting residential and commercial work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with an Australian construction company.
• Experience delivering class 2 projects valued at $20M+ is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, programming and subcontractor coordination.
• Proven ability to lead site teams and manage multiple work fronts.
• Excellent knowledge of WHS, quality assurance and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Trade background in carpentry is highly regarded.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with a strong focus on quality and delivery.

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on one of two significant construction projects located in Sydney's inner-city suburbs, valued at up to approximately $45M.

You’ll take responsibility for day-to-day site operations, leading subcontractors, managing construction programs and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Up to $250,000 + Super, depending on experience
