Job summary

Seek is seeking a Site Supervisor in the Newcastle region to manage residential insurance repair projects. This is an off-the-tools supervisory role with a company vehicle, incentives, and manageable project allocations to keep work moving and deliver quality outcomes.

You’ll coordinate trades, oversee timelines, safety, and quality across a portfolio of projects, with autonomy and support from an established team.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Supervisor or similar construction experience
• Strong practical building/roofing knowledge
• Experience coordinating trades and managing multiple projects
• Solid organisation and problem solving skills

Looking for your next move as a Site Supervisor?

We’re looking for experienced construction professionals to join a growing business managing residential insurance repair projects across the Newcastle Region.

This is an off-the-tools supervisory role with a company vehicle, performance incentives and manageable project allocations. You’ll coordinate trades, manage your own portfolio of projects and have the autonomy to keep jobs moving and deliver quality outcomes.

Experience in residential construction, roofing, building repairs or insurance works is highly regarded. You don’t need to come directly from insurance building – strong construction knowledge and supervisory experience are what matter most.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing projects from initial assessment through to completion, including:

• Conducting site inspections and assessing repair requirements
• Coordinating trades, subcontractors and scheduling
• Reviewing scopes and monitoring project progress
• Overseeing project timeframes, quality and safety
• Identifying issues and finding practical solutions
• Maintaining accurate project records and updates
• Ensuring works meet relevant building and WHS requirements

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is practical, organised and confident taking responsibility for getting jobs completed.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous Site Supervisor or similar construction experience
• Strong practical building and/or roofing knowledge
• Experience coordinating trades and managing multiple projects
• Strong organisation and problem solving skills
• Confident communication and customer service skills
• Good understanding of WHS and quality requirements
• Confidence using technology and job management systems

Highly regarded, but not essential: Relevant trade qualification, Certificate IV in Building & Construction, roofing experience or insurance building experience.
