Job summary

Clarke Energy is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support the Construction and Project Team in overseeing civil and mechanical works on site. Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, this role is a key member of the EPC team, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high‑quality project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience supervising site teams or managing contractors in a construction or project environment.
  • Civil or mechanical trade qualification and strong knowledge of site operations and safety compliance.
  • White Card, first aid and high‑risk work licences (desirable).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schedules and project documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities on a fast-paced site.

  • Oversee daily civil and mechanical installation activities on site, ensuring safety, schedule and budget adherence.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to manage deliveries, site logistics and material storage.
  • Monitor contractor performance through site engagement, inspections and progress tracking.
  • Review QA documentation and ensure inspections are completed correctly and on time.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety requirements.

Site Supervisor

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Review and manage quality assurance documentation, ensuring QA processes, hold points and inspections are completed correctly and on time.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, proactively identify hazards and promote a strong safety culture across all site activities.
  • Plan and sequence work activities, maintaining alignment with the project schedule and ensuring teams are working to current drawings and documentation.
What You’ll Bring
  • Demonstrated experience supervising site teams or managing contractors in a construction or project environment.
  • Civil or mechanical trade qualification, with strong knowledge of site operations and safety compliance requirements.
  • Relevant certifications including White Card, first aid and high-risk work licences, statutory supervisor is desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schedules and project documentation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate multiple trades.
  • Well‑developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced site environment.
