Job summary

Clarke Energy, a global leader in power generation, is seeking Field Service Technicians to join our Australian team. You will perform maintenance on gas and diesel powered generators, diagnose faults, and ensure uptime across multiple site locations.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of field service experience with large engines or earthmoving equipment, a mechanical trade qualification, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of field service experience with gas or diesel generators.
• Trade qualification in mechanical disciplines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel and work across field sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas & diesel powered generators and related equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure uptime.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to maintain service standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas & diesel powered generators and associated equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to uphold service standards and readiness.
• Maintain detailed service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with large reciprocating engines or earthmoving equipment.
• Trade qualification in mechanical disciplines.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Safety-focused, reliable, and customer-oriented.
• Willingness to travel and work independently across field sites.
• Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia and be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment and a national police check.
