Job summary

We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support the implementation and maintenance of site safety systems, conduct routine site inspections, document findings and help drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety.
• 3+ years’ experience in similar role within civil or construction industry.
• Strong communication skills with confidence engaging site personnel.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety reporting systems and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of site safety systems and documentation.
• Assist with routine site inspections, audits and PPE checks.
• Record findings and help track corrective actions to completion.
• Help investigate incidents and near misses, including preparing reports.
• Maintain safety registers, training records and compliance documentation.
